Yes. Paint correction is required before application to ensure proper bonding, maximum gloss, and long-term performance. Brand new vehicles may not need paint correction, but it is important to clean surface with prep or alcohol before applying f1nish to surface

What surfaces can F1NISH Coatings be applied to?

F1NISH Coatings can be applied to paint, metal, plastic, trim, rubber, leather, and more, making one bottle a true total-protection solution.

Is it hard to clean after coating?

No—cleaning is easier than ever. Dirt, water, and grime release quickly, saving time after every ride or trip.

Our F1NISH Trace Coat formula is rated for up to 3 years of protection and can also be maintained using Boost Spray to keep the coating performing at its best.
