INSTALL RACECOAT (WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS BELOW)
INSTALLATION PROCESS
Prepare surface
Paint Correct or clean surface if not paint, after pinat correction clean surface with a panel prep or alcohol to remove oils and waxes from pores of surface.
Apply the Coating
Apply Race Coat evenly to the surface using your preferred applicator, working one section at a time.
Flash Time
Allow the coating to flash for 7–12 minutes.
Flash time may vary depending on temperature and humidity.
Leveling
Level the coating with a clean, soft microfiber towel.
Leveling should be extremely easy.
If the coating smears or feels grabby, it was leveled too soon—allow additional time and level again.
Plastics & Rubber
On plastic and rubber surfaces, apply the coating and level off after approximately 1 minute.
Curing & Aftercare
The coating is ready for light use after 3 hours.
Avoid full water contact for 24 hours (no rain, washing, or rinsing) to ensure proper curing.
Troubleshooting
If the coating is left on the surface too long and streaking or hazing appears that will not come off during normal leveling:
Lightly spray a panel prep or alcohol-based solution onto a clean microfiber towel.
Gently wipe the affected area to remove any remaining dried solvents.
This will not remove the coating—approximately 90% of the product has already embedded into the surface, and performance will not be compromised.
